Mediations and pre-suit settlement conferences are available in-person or virtually using Zoom Video Conferencing.
Mediations and pre-suit settlement conferences may occur at one of the lawyers’ offices, a court reporter’s office, or other agreed-upon location.
Once your booking is confirmed, email a copy of the Notice of Mediation or any correspondence between the parties confirming mediation or pre-suit settlement conference to Angela@mirabolemediation.com
Please submit any materials you want reviewed at least 48 hours prior to your mediation or pre-suit settlement conference date.
RATES
Fee: $475 per hour, split evenly among the parties unless otherwise agreed by all parties. There is a 3-hour minimum for all mediations and pre-settlement conferences, or $1425 total.
Half-day mediations and pre-suit settlement conferences typically start at 9:30am and 1:30pm. Should you require an alternative start time, please indicate so in your Booking Request Form.
Full-day mediations and pre-suit settlement conferences occur from 9:30am – 5:30pm (including an hour lunch). Additional time may be requested.
For complex matters, please reserve a full day to ensure the best possible outcome.
Cancellation Fee: The minimum fee ($1425) will be charged if cancellation occurs less than 7 days prior to the scheduled date of mediation.
Cancellations should be in writing and following an agreement of all parties and counsel. Unless otherwise agreed, all parties and their counsel are equally responsible for any cancellation fee.
Travel: Travel time outside of Hillsborough County will be billed for actual time spent traveling that is half of the applicable hourly rate. Travel expenses such as airfare and lodging will be added to the mediation invoice.
